Tony's wonderful fried Turkey!(read below)
Christmas at our house is always quite an adventure. With a group as large as 25 something funny always happens. This year Tony decided to give frying a turkey another try. When I heard that he dropped the thermometer in the oil, I wasn't quite sure how it was going to turn out. Thank goodness we had two hams being cooked also. Tony was attempting to get the thermometer out when he dropped the spoon in. My Aunt informs me that Tony is trying to get the spoon and thermometer with a bat and a large knife! He was successfully but unfortunately the turkey was a little fried! With the meat that was saved it was quite good.
We had our annual talent show. Our show this year consisted of a guitar player, a few songs, a man appearing as Pedro?, and of course Grandma's wonderful poem about the year. As the years have gone by it seems to get harder now that most of the clan is boys. Peyton really surprised us though by doing a Billy Joel song and was very enthusiastic about it.
Everyone had a great time. We marvel at our Saviors birth and rejoice that "he became flesh and dwelt among us"
