The Beach

We went camping at the beach in San Elijo next to Encinitas. We had a great time as always and the weather was great! The older boys did lots of surfing and were in the water 24/7. I felt like I barley saw them. Eventually I ventured into the water and did a little boogie boarding. The water was so warm and the waves were a little to big for my comfort! At night we sat by the campfire and played the name game. The kids love this game and it was so funny because everyone would always know who Preston was and Parker won like three times! HA! The boys also really got into tennis. There was a park across the street and they would walk over with Poppy and Dad and play a little doubles. They got pretty good. My mom and I decided to take them on- me being the rookie- I actually wasn't too bad and enjoyed it. Surprise! Surprise! It was nice being able to spend time with my sisters and my mom and dad. Our friends the Burnells got their own site and they have three boys and one on the way so the younger boys had some little friends to play with at the beach.
