A Good Lesson

Once in a while you have a time to teach a great life lesson to one of your children. Well ours came with our 9 year old Peyton. He had planned to go to the mall with his Auntie while we were out. I knew of the this but didn't know of his plans to purchase anything. Well he bought a quite expensive backpack which he only had about half the money for. My sister graciously bought it and told him he would have to pay her back. When we heard of this I wasn't very happy-1. he didn't have the money and 2. a ridiciolus price for a backpack. We explained to him that he was now in debt and would have to work back what he owed with intrest if he didn't get the full amount to us in one months time. He was not very happy with his purchase when he realized it would be costing him alot more than what he had orginally purchased it for. He has now been seeking employment from all the neoghbors, grandparents and family members. I hope he retains this lesson for many years to come.
